2. Mahatmas - New Bhaktacharitras Each Month

India is the holy land with so many bhaktas (devotees). When we go through the Indian history, there must be a bhakta in every period. That is the greatness of this sacred land. Bhaktas are the role model for all the bonded souls. They enjoy their life in a perfect way. Bhaktas surrender themselves to the Lotus feet of Lord. By hearing or reading bhaktas' divine story, the bonded soul is enlightened to come out of the worldwide bondages.

RadheKrishna! Sincere chanting and listening to the great stories of devotees will surely give a peace of mind to everybody, even in this 21st century. So many people think that listening to the devotee's stories is a waste of time and there is no benefit at all. If somebody wants to realize the power of bagawan, first of all they must listen bhaktha charithram [stories of devotees]. There are so many advantages in listening to baktha charithram.

Bharath is a very special land and contained within it are sacred places and rivers. Devotees born in this sacred Bharath ensure that they propagate bhakti in all corners of the country. This is the precise reason why the fragrance of bhakti can be felt all around our country. Our beloved Guruji has a special reverence for Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and in the coming issues, we will enjoy his bhakthi and the path of devoution that he had set an example for us to follow.

Let us being to chant from now and realise the Lord as He is full of mercy and will reveal Himself. There is nothing to gain by moving away from the Lord and nothing like money, fame, riches, beautiful ladies, lovely children , intellect can bring us the necessary mental peace for us. Nothing other than our true love for the Lord, chanting of the Lord's name and the grace of Guru can bring peace to our souls.

Atma is very unique , minute and very special. Hence it cannot be equated to money, trees or something else. This is because unlike a house which is constructed, a atma never is made and has ever existed. As the Lord said in Gita, the atma cannot be cut, cannot be made wet, cannot be destroyed and cannot be made as it is ever present. Hence something that gets made or germinated has a destruction and can be destroyed as well. Hence something that gets or made in this world cannot bring peace to the atma that is unborn and always existed. The Lord, the chanting of His names and His grace are ever present and nothing other than these can bring peace to the atma (Individual soul)

RadheKrishna.Hinduism is an ancient religion. All the things that have been spoken in Hindu religion can be applied in practical life. Although in 21st century till everyone can apply this in his or her daily life. The aim of Hindu religion is to provide total happiness to everyone at all times (or any point of time). The essence of Hinduism is told in "Bhagawad Gita". In order to realize what is said in Bhagawad Gita it is a compulsory (must) to have an unconditional faith on Bhagawad Gita. So many people have benefited in their lives because of the (by reading) shlokas of Bhagawad Gita. In Bhagawad Gita, Bhagawan Shri Krishna has told the way to lead a happy life in such an easy way that even a normal layman can easily understand. The slokas are so simple that anyone can understand and use it practically. In the coming months we will enjoy the 12th Chapter of Gita and the devoution towards the Lord as explained by our  beloved Guruji.

As soon as Arjuna wondered what if he is unable to meditate and do abhyasa(practice) then the Lord instantly answers and instructs Arjuna to do all the karmas (daily chores) for Him. The second we are born we have to constantly engage ourselves in work and that karma starts as soon as we are in our mother's womb. The karma inside the womb is that of adjusting to the mother to her food that she eats and which gets to us via the umbilical chord and to reposition ourselves upside down to be ready for coming into this earth!

Karma does not end until we breathe our last and that the karma does not end there with our death. The soul moves out of this body and into another body and the karma begins.Even if we liberate ourselves and reach Vaikunda (the abode of the Lord), karma does not end there. The karma in the abode of the Lord is to enjoy Him by singing his praises and to meditate on Him. Hence karma is common to all the jivas and so is true for the Lord as well

RadheKrishna  RadheKrishna..
Perumal Thirumozhi was as a result of Kulasekara azhwar longing to see and enjoy Lord Ranganatha. The Thirumozhi also results from the bhakthi of the azhwar towards Rama and Krishna and he begins with his longing for Lord Ranganatha. Everyone of us have so much of longing for the worldly affairs but the longing and the love for the Lord alone will help us achieve a good state.
Kulasekara azhwar enjoys Lord Ranganatha as Adisheshan in the first two pasurams or songs. Then he enjoys the Lord as enjoyed by Brahma. But the way Gopis enjoyed the Lord is considered to be supreme. This is because the not so intelligent Gopis were fully aware of the strengths of the Lord and believed that Krishna would save them. Of all the avatars,  Krishna avatar is considered to be the best and one that can easily be enjoyed. This was followed by Kulasekara azhwar enjoying how Narada and Tumburu enjoy the Lord. He continues further and sees how the devotees are enjoying the Lord and what items are safeguarding the Lord. Then the azhwar decides to mingle with the devotees and experience how it would be to be part of that group and enjoy the Lord.

The Lord has blocked enough water for all us in future and that is why even if we dig a bore we are able to get water. There is nothing beyond the intelligence of the Lord in this world. People today are making films about dinosaurs but the Lord ensured that these species become extinct at the right point in time. If the dinosaurs had existed, we will not bother to even come to the temples. This is because the Lord knows how long something to exist for it to enjoy and He will ensure its existence till then.

Many species have become extinct and this is because the Lord has determined that if these had existed, it will be difficult for them as well as for the humans. A scorpion will give birth by bursting its stomach and on one side the Lord is adding and on the other he is destroying to ensure the balance. Today we claim that the human population has become more but the total number of souls have remained the same. It is just that some of the extinct species have become humans in their forms. There is only a finite number of souls that exist (although no one knows the total count) and they all form under one of the 84 lakh of species that can be found in this world like a lizard, tree, human or a worm.

5. Samarpanam
parithraanaaya sadhoonaam vinasaya cha dhushkrutham
dharma sansthapanarthaya sambhavami yuge yuge
Bhagawan takes avatar in each and every yuga mainly to safeguard the bhaktas and then to destroy the rakshasaas who trouble his bhaktas. So Bhagawan comes to this bhoomi from paRamapadham just for the sake of his bhaktas. Hence we come to know that bhaktas are very important to the Lord. Whenever Bhagawan comes to rescue his bhaktas, the other fellow people also reap the benefits. Our guruji amma gives high respect to all the bhaktas. Hence our Vedhanaadham's every issue will be dedicated to one bhakta. This issue we are dedicating to one of the great eternal devotees of the Lord namely 'Kabir Das'

  • The great soul who was born in 1440 and was brought up by muslim parents Niru and Nima in Varanasi
  • The great devotee who decided to sleep on the banks of Ganges in search of a guru and was initiated by saint Ramananda into spirituality
  • The great soul who cried at the sight of Jowar seeds being crushed and understood that the seeds attached to the rod(Lord) never gets crushed very much how humans who are attached to the Lord are
  • The great devotee for whom the Lord Himself came at times to complete the weaving of his clothes that were left unfinished
  • The great devotee who enjoyed Panduranga's dance along with other devotees and restricted him from dancing as his dress(Peethambar) was beginning to fall off due to the dances
  • The great soul who was pious enough to exchange his wife Loyee's chasitity to feed his devotee guests
  • The great father who cut off his son kaamal's  head to feed Namadeva and Gnanadeva and was brought back to life due to the devoution of the family of Kabir
  • The great devotee who died leaving his body as a bunch of flower into two halves. The Hindus cremated the flowers and the muslims buried the other half of flowers
Enjoy these sweet hyms of Kabir

Pothee pad pad jagam aa pandita hu aana koye
Dayee akshar prem ka pade so panditahoye
‘Many people wasted their lives in research over God through, classics. Only those who pronounced two and a half letters (Sri Ram) they were liberated proclaimed Kabir.

Jab maitha tab gurunahi ab guruhai hamnahi Premgali ati sankari tame dona samahi’
‘When I had ego, guru was not there. I attained a guru, ego vanished. The path of love is narrow. It cannot accommodate both ego and God in one place ! This is the doha of Kabir. You can also enjoy a collection of his poems in the link below
