2. Mahatmas - New Bhaktacharitras Each Month

India is the holy land with so many bhaktas (devotees). When we go through the Indian history, there must be a bhakta in every period. That is the greatness of this sacred land. Bhaktas are the role model for all the bonded souls. They enjoy their life in a perfect way. Bhaktas surrender themselves to the Lotus feet of Lord. By hearing or reading bhaktas' divine story, the bonded soul is enlightened to come out of the worldwide bondages.
RadheKrishna! Sincere chanting and listening to the great stories of devotees will surely give a peace of mind to everybody, even in this 21st century. So many people think that listening to the devotee's stories is a waste of time and there is no benefit at all. If somebody wants to realize the power of bagawan, first of all they must listen bhaktha charithram [stories of devotees]. There are so many advantages in listening to baktha charithram.
Bharath is a very special land and contained within it are sacred places and rivers.

Devotees born in this sacred Bharath ensure that they propagate bhakti in all corners of the country. This is the precise reason why the fragrance of bhakti can be felt all around our country. Our beloved Guruji has a special reverence for Sri Krishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and in the coming issues, we will enjoy his bhakthi and the path of devoution that he had set an example for us to follow.

When the Lord accepts us devotees alone we get true happiness and not when fellow humans do so. This was the case with Prahalada and Dhuruva and hence they derived true joy. Suklambar fell at the feet of Nimayee and requested him to make him a complete devotee. Nimayee retorted that if he wanted devoution and chanting to come and nothing else. To that Suklambar replied that is all sufficient because being learned in Vedas and other puranas does not allow one to enjoy the essence of those teachings which is nothing but true devoution towards Krishna

Even King Parikshit told sage Sukha and by listening to the stories of Lord Hari, he has completely forgotten his hunger, thirst and sleep and not everybody gets to enjoy this experience. Nimayee casually said that he will grant his boon just a beggar is being given food. In no part of this world or in no religion you will find such instances where devoution is granted at a mere request. Beyond Hinduism nowhere else you will find such a satguru like Nimayee. At the very instant Suklambar loses himself in the maha-mantra and begins to sing and dance in joy. He even forgets that he is standing in the middle of the road and exhibits the bhava of the Gopis and started to fall at the feet of Nimayee. Seeing this intense devoution, Nimayee too is filled with intense devoution

RadheKrishna.Hinduism is an ancient religion. All the things that have been spoken in Hindu religion can be applied in practical life. Although in 21st century till everyone can apply this in his or her daily life. The aim of Hindu religion is to provide total happiness to everyone at all times (or any point of time). The essence of Hinduism is told in "Bhagawad Gita". In order to realize what is said in Bhagawad Gita it is a compulsory (must) to have an unconditional faith on Bhagawad Gita. So many people have benefited in their lives because of the (by reading) shlokas of Bhagawad Gita. In Bhagawad Gita, Bhagawan Shri Krishna has told the way to lead a happy life in such an easy way that even a normal layman can easily understand. The slokas are so simple that anyone can understand and use it practically. In the coming months we will enjoy the 12th Chapter of Gita and the devoution towards the Lord as explained by our  beloved Guruji.

The Lord decided to kill the ego of everyone and by His mere thought brought back Hanuman towards Dwaraka. Being monkey natured Hanuman started tearing down the gardens and the Lord requested Garuda to bring the monkey that is destroying the gardens. Garuda requested Hanuman to come to meet Krishna and Hanuman replied that he will not come at the call of some cowherd boy. Garuda complained to the Lord that the monkey is not coming and so Krishna requested Garuda  to invite Hanuman by saying that Lord Ram had asked him to come. Garuda requested Hanuman to mount on his back but Hanuman refused and asked Garuda to return.

The Lord now asked His chakra to bring the monkey that is harming the gardens. The Chakra was disappointed that he had to bring a simple monkey but as soon as he reached Hanuman swalloed the Chakra. In the meantime Garuda returned empty handed to the Lord and said Hanuman is on his way. The Lord smiled and said that Hanuman has come and met him and gone back. The Lord also said that the same second he said that Ram had called him, Hanuman was here to meet him and he had returned back

RadheKrishna  RadheKrishna..

Perumal Thirumozhi was as a result of Kulasekara azhwar longing to see and enjoy Lord Ranganatha. The Thirumozhi also results from the bhakthi of the azhwar towards Rama and Krishna and he begins with his longing for Lord Ranganatha. Everyone of us have so much of longing for the worldly affairs but the longing and the love for the Lord alone will help us achieve a good state.

Kulasekara azhwar enjoys Lord Ranganatha as Adisheshan in the first two pasurams or songs. Then he enjoys the Lord as enjoyed by Brahma. But the way Gopis enjoyed the Lord is considered to be supreme. This is because the not so intelligent Gopis were fully aware of the strengths of the Lord and believed that Krishna would save them. Of all the avatars,  Krishna avatar is considered to be the best and one that can easily be enjoyed. This was followed by Kulasekara azhwar enjoying how Narada and Tumburu enjoy the Lord. He continues further and sees how the devotees are enjoying the Lord and what items are safeguarding the Lord. Then the azhwar decides to mingle with the devotees and experience how it would be to be part of that group and enjoy the Lord.

We meet many people along the road but we don't invite everybody to our house and accommodate them for a few days. If that happens it will not be feasible to sustain. Life is like a journey and we perform this with many people around us. First with our grand parents then with parents, then with our spouses, then with friends and the day will come that we have to make our final journey. Hence we don't have to put these people in our hearts as we make the journey and the Lord alone is the only immutable person in this world. Like the example above if we stuff everybody and everything in our hearts then it will become heavy. We should not maitain a place for the Lord in our hearts. All devotees like Meera, Janabhai, Sakhubhai, Aandal had only kept the Lord in their hearts and nobody else had a place in that.

Kunti Devi had to undergo many hardships but despite all that she was as happy as ever. The reason being that Kunti had Krishna but no one else in her heart. Hence the devotees of the hearts are very pure. Kulasekara azhwar wants to rush towards those devotees, mingle with them and enjoy the Lord. He also wants to relinquish the kingdom and other pleasures that come with it and he longs for  the day that he can be called a simple devotee of the Lord.  The companionship that the azhwar seeks is to strenghten his devoution towards the Lord and make him enjoy the same bliss that the devoutees enjoy .Lord Ranganatha is lying in a reclining pose so that we could enjoy and the devotees in turn pray for the well being of  the Lord and the azhwar wants to enjoy all of these.

5. Samarpanam
parithraanaaya sadhoonaam vinasaya cha dhushkrutham
dharma sansthapanarthaya sambhavami yuge yuge
Bhagawan takes avatar in each and every yuga mainly to safeguard the bhaktas and then to destroy the rakshasaas who trouble his bhaktas. So Bhagawan comes to this bhoomi from paRamapadham just for the sake of his bhaktas. Hence we come to know that bhaktas are very important to the Lord. Whenever Bhagawan comes to rescue his bhaktas, the other fellow people also reap the benefits. Our guruji amma gives high respect to all the bhaktas. Hence our Vedhanaadham's every issue will be dedicated to one bhakta. This issue we are dedicating to one of the great eternal devotees of the Lord namely 'Suklambar Bharmachari'

  • The great soul was a disciple of SriKrishna Chaitanya Mahaprabhu and was initiated by him in a second at his very request to enjoy true devoution towards Krishna
  • The great devotee was the first companion of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in his bhakthi and nama sankreetana movement
  • The great soul in his past birth was none other than the wife of a brahmin who fed Krishna the meals ahead of completion of the Yaga and received His blessings
  • The great devotee took alms and ensured that he cooked for Chaitanya in continuation of his past birth!
